We have 100's of refrigerated trucks delivering food. The reefer units on these trucks are all diesel. We could get to a point that its just impossible to ship refrigerated food to most places. All dry goods and canned stuff. 40 gallon tank on those trucks.

I can't imagine being an owner/operator right now. The cost of diesel is getting pretty close to a dollar a mile for these tractor trailers.

Diesel prices running higher is a killer for the economy. Trucking will feel the pain but so will farmers as the cost to run their equipment will get passed on as higher food prices.
