I want to install a water feature in my front yard

I don't want to take care of these ugly bushes and I don't want to weed it either. I want to install a water feature. Originally I had a mini pond in my head (yes I know this will be more work to maintain than the ugly bushes). Please tell me your thoughts, concerns, advice, and other ideas you have

Well to be honest I like the idea of having some kind of a water feature. Id love to put in a mini waterfall in ground. But yeah, if I were to recover this garden id consider doing some kind of a colored rock and a border. I need to price out all options to see what I really want to do.

Yeah, border and mulch. And then you can use round up on the grass and weeds that come into the bed. You won’t really have to weed it

If you are struggling pull weeds, a water feature might be more than you are looking for.

I can pull weeds. I just have no desire to pull the weeds because I dont care about the plants. I know a water feature could be as much or more work (depending on design), but it's work I would rather do. I would rather have a nice water feature than a mediocre set of plants

I do not live next to an iHop. Also I put preemergent down in the fall and the beginning of the spring. The problem with the weeds is that I'm still fighting new construction shitty sod. Once I've only had a few weeks last summer and a few weeks this spring to learn what is going to do well for weed control in my lawn. I do have other weeds that I want to get rid of as well, though the weeds are not my problem. I do not want to take care of anything in that garden. I dont want the bushes or the weeds.
