Rooting for one or the other like they're a sports team is childish. Viewing the issue like one group are the good guys and one group are the bad guys is short-sighted.
Religion and race distorts people's opinions on the issue. I hate to burst people's bubbles, but Israelis and Palestinians are not different races of people. They both descended from the Canaanites. The only difference is one follows Judaism and the other follows Islam.

The narratives like one group being the Israelites and the other is not are not true. They're not Semites either. They came from Ham, which is also what I had for dinner. Non-religious people will say, "but, the Canaanites were Semites!". Give me a break. "Semitic languages" are nothing but a construct based on the Bible, so stop using the word Semitic if you don't believe Shem existed. What you call Semitic languages were just different dialects of Akkadian, the lingua franca of the Middle East at the time. So yes, the "anti-Semite" word that's used to smear anti-Zionists is just as bogus as homophobe or Islamophobe.
I don't care if Israel "has a right to exist" when Jews like George Soros don't believe white European countries have a right to exist without mass migration.
Africans, Latin Americans, Jews, and their Middle East/North African (MENA) cousins seem to have genes that make it to where they're not even grateful when someone tries to help them out, so I don't try.
We Americans have no dog in the fight between Israel and Palestine. Any stake you imagine we have is the result of our own actions.
