I'm glad to see this. I really think the country is a lot more conservative than many realize. I think the fear of being shamed for being a conservative is fading fast. Hope to see some others like this.

Also- mitt Romney is saying he is switching to dem if Trump wins. I'm all for it

Became a TDS pub the day Trump took office the first time. He won't last a week in prison.

You do know Tulsi's record on the Second Amendment, right?
I "know" her record, but I also know that she used to be part of a party that she had to toe the line with, and did not completely understand.

I also know that people can see the light, and as far as the public view goes, she just crucified herself by changing parties, which to me signifies a change.

I also know that under Trump, more anti gun legislation was passed than under Obama.

The gun debate is what it is, but is a loser on both sides of the aisle. Sometimes, politically, is is better to be against something as to flame the fires, than it is to be publically be for them and have little or no effect.

I used to be a devout atheist, but no longer. Same thing.

EDIT:

Ill bet she can out shoot most people on this forum:

For the reason you gave, I voted for Trump, but will not endorse him. He was the most anti- gun zealot in U.S. history. If / when Gabbard does something that publicly says to me she has changed, I won't endorse her. I'd date her even if I didn't vote for her however.

I'm sick of the Republicans bullshit. They take the conservative vote for granted and alll we do is vote for the lesser of two evils and that is usually a former Democrat that wears the Republican label. And, since the Republicans are the original liberals, constitutionalists don't stand much of a chance.

Great, but going back to my original statement about Gabbards gun point of view, and the stuff I quoted, do you feel differently about your opinion about Gabbard?

Do you think she is a poser?

Most of these party jumping Democrats revert back to socialist solutions the moment they get entrenched in the Republican Party. Two examples would be Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Their administrations were marked with anti-gun actions that nearly destroyed the Second Amendment.

I would not trust Gabbard unless and until she did something that was actually pro-Second Amendment. You can't tell me you changed your mind about the Second and then after paying lip service jump on an anti-gun bandwagon. Will she denounce the Universal Background Check, Red Flag Gun Laws, bans, registrations, limits on magazine capacity, and E.O.s criminalizing certain features of firearms? If she can do that, specifically, and prove she's actually READ AND CONSIDERED the evidence and the facts, I might be so inclined to support her.

Trump says he is for the Second and is endorsed by the NRA, but in office he was the most anti-gun zealot we ever had. Now, he's suddenly "pro-gun" again. He's endorsed by the No Rifles Association (NRA), but he is still the clown he was when he high fived Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein in their efforts to institute gun control. That's a big issue for me personally because without it, socialism WILL become our official Form of Government. If Tulsi can answer to those specifics I might consider her.
