your opinion on thinking whoever is running Biden is fixing to Sabotage our gas by having the gasline attacked by his cyberteam ....(just saw on NewsMax ticker) heard yesterday car tires may be a year to get in.....next I project gas, then food ..
Nobody wants to work. We have raised our starting pay twice since 2019. Hard to make a house when everyone want to do the designing and nobody want to drive a nail. It’s just a ramp up shortage with the entire country opening up.

So why did manufacturing employment go down? Shouldn't they be hiring to get ready for the ramp up?It’s just a ramp up shortage with the entire country opening up.
This. When the average take home pay is something like 39k, then you factor in the cost of student debt, apartment rent, healthcare, ridiculous cash for clunkers driven auto costs... stagnated wages aren’t cutting it anymore.
What's the rate?Nobody wants to work. We have raised our starting pay twice since 2019. Hard to make a house when everyone want to do the designing and nobody want to drive a nail.
Went from $17 to $18.73/hr plus incentive. Someone with just a hs degree and a good work ethic could make $23/hr pretty easy after a month. 3 years ago that would of been considered a real good wage around here. We were $15/hr in 2019 and didn't have a problem hiring people... retention sucked but we could hire. Now you can't even get people to show up to an interview. What's the rate?
I value laborers more than I value people with most college degrees.Went from $17 to $18.73/hr plus incentive. From a mouse in your pocket?
Because they still have silly 6-foot rules and mask requirements on the assembly lines even those companies with automated assembly lines. So why did manufacturing employment go down? Shouldn't they be hiring to get ready for the ramp up?

which group averages 39k? All American wage earners?
Take home is about 3500 a month on average.
for all Americans? Does that average include part time workers? Teenagers/college students still in school?
the important number would be average household income where only FT wages are included in the average
We can’t get employees to show up. We’ve had 15 year manufacturing employees just refuse to come in but still expect to get paid. It’s fucking ridiculous that so many expect to have everything given instead of wanting to earn it.So why did manufacturing employment go down? Shouldn't they be hiring to get ready for the ramp up?
Total nonfarm employment and it’s a median number. So half the US is earning less than that.
i would like to know median income by households that have at least 1 FT employee

This is the case in most fast food restaurants around atlanta, or at least in the suburbs where since public transportation or transportation costs makes it difficult to find cheap labor.Anecdotal I know, in our small town as of today two of the fast food restaurants have gone back to drive through only & limited menus after being fully open since last June. Signs on both state it is due to a lack of help with help wanted signs at both locations.
The Flash foods is out of gas as of today & there’s been a .20c/gal jump across town at other stores.
