• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

He changed the world with this simple advice...

For me, Steve Jobs is THE TECHNOLOGY TITAN that started the revolution with a computer and a phone. In this short video to a graduating class he tells three short stories and imparts a lifetime of wisdom. I have watched it many times because it speaks to my heart and never fails to lift me up and make me strong when I need a helping hand. Trust me, you'll be glad you watched.

Damn, that was beautiful.

Steve Jobs was lucky to live before the West turned to shit. Back then people actually liked and bought good things. But now people are depraved scum who hate everything that is good and only like what is bad. Jobs would have been a failure today.
