Florida folks - Sarasota/Siesta Key recs

Planning a quick trip down there later this summer w/the wife and daughter and I’ve never been to that part of FL before. Wondering about a good spot to stay, good golf courses, food, etc. I’m thinking somewhere close to the village because it looks cool but as long as we’re on a nice beach then I’m good. My wife has two aunts down there so I’ve been down a few times. Really hard to go wrong on siesta key. Best beach I’ve been to on the gulf

I get that salad at the Columbia in St. Augustine. It’s legit. I’ve replicated it pretty well at home too.
