I am looking to go for a couple days in the next couple weeks. Any of you guys or gals run a charter or know someone who does? Would also be fine with gulf shores if possible if you know any poorsinous people.

Where are you going out of, and how long of a trip are you looking at doing? I've only done one trip out of Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area), and that was for a 1/2 day charter, but others will likely ask this too.

Previously had a charter booked out of Destin, but it ended up getting cancelled due to weather, and since I was in from across the country, I couldn't reschedule.

1 full day or 1/2 days on two separate days. I am not going out of anywhere as of now. I live roughly 6.5-7 hrs away from gulf shores, destin/Panama city. I don’t want to drive much further than that

I live in Gulf Shores, as far as trips goes it depends on how many you have going. If only you and one or two people you wan to go on a shared trip. If you have 8+ then you will probably want your own boat.

When I go I will not book a boat smaller than 32' in case it is choppy. Half a day is usually good you go out 15-20 miles to the first sets of artificial reefs. Also don't do inshore it is not near as much fun and fish are not as big.

Zeke's and Orange Beach Marina are your best bets to book a trip. Also if you are wanting a condo or beach house lmk I can recommend a local booking group to use.

I did a head boat in the gulf as a kid. Ot was a good time and not that expensive. You may shit your britches when you see what they charge. Marine gas is up there. Off Charleston it is 50-60miles to the ledge for good fishing. We get 55-67 Bertram or similar a d that would run 4k for 6 people. I bet that same boat now for a day is 8k or higher.
Find a bait shop in person or online and ask them. They know the good guys for fishing

There are. I was trying to avoid booking with some random if there were recommendations or if someone had their own charter.
