My point is you shouldn't support corruption just because it favors your side. What the government has been doing with the infighting is evidence of a far greater danger than just a senator receiving "kickbacks". Which by the way, usually every leader who is not a drone faces some kind of kickback at some point in their career. It's not suprising that some of them take them instead of refusing.

I had a crew leader giving me hundreds of dollars a day one time. Because his workers told me what he paid them some of them only 10 a hour but our company paid the guy 38 a hour. I never spread the knowledge or anything but the leader kept giving me money all of the sudden. Then on the third day he did it again $300 dollars and I told him this.
"What is this for ?"
"Oh you just keep it. you know"
"This isn't going to win you any favors."
"oh no you just keep it."

a hour later the guy came up to me in private.
"No favors huh ?"
"Not one."

Never saw another bit of money or help from the guy. In fact he changed his disposition after that day. wonder why?
