Today's the day boys (and girls)! Wanted to start a thread for election day posts. Trying to stay positive today but concerned the fuckery will be widespread. Red Wave!

Good timing on starting this thread. I was just about to start one myself. That's not good to see in AZ already.

In Las Vegas, we're expecting 25-40 mph wind in the afternoon, with a high percentage of rain also, so hopefully people are prepared or get out and vote early. Otherwise, it could have an impact on people going out to vote if the weather is crappy.

There needs to be a way for each individual person to 'adjudicate' their own ballot, while at the voting site. If you scan the ballot, and it doesn't go through correctly, then you should be able to go to a manual station or something similar, and do it until it comes through properly. The whole behind the scenes adjudication process is way too shady and leaves the door open for all kinds of corruption.

You ought to get a confirmation sent to your email or a text to your phone who you voted for

Perhaps the most impressive thing Democrats have done over the years is convince much of the population that voting requirements are racist or oppressive. Very impressive work.
That really is a weird deal. I have always wondered why the Pubs didn't come back with a proposal to provide free drivers licenses / ID's for people that can't afford them. We all know that this is just a ridiculous and racist claim, but it would at least force the Dem's hand. Free for any citizen that wants to get one (and doesn't already have one), then we can freely check ID's when voting. Problem solved.

That's not a bad idea, but shouldn't be necessary. IDs are cheap. If you really want something, something is important to you, you will find a way to get it done. We need more personal accountability in this country (like it used to be).

Oh I agree. But big Stacy and others like to claim that it's racist to require ID's since so many minorities can't get them or afford them. So doing something like this would put that argument to rest.

What's the ID requirement for voting in your state (put what state you're in).

Nevada - No ID check when voting. They make you sign an electric pad (like when paying at a grocery store), then they compare your signature to the one that's on file from when you registered to vote. I'm not sure how close they make it be, but unfortunately, no ID check is required.

I have heard from people pretty close to the source that Kemp should win by 10 points and Stacy has already bought a house in California

hearing Herschel could have a slight edge but it may be headed to a runoff
Hoping for a big red wave today

If Kemp wins by 10, then it would seem the HW would exceed 50% also. Maybe not, but it seems like it would go that way.
