It’s really hysterical that I keep reading how people yearn for the diplomacy and stability of the Obama years. Let’s rewind the video tape; The weakest economic recovery in recent history coupled with the great wealth gap ever. On foreign policy, consider what fomented under his watch: The creation of ISIS, ignored redlines in Syria and a brutal civil war, Iran moving toward getting nukes, Russian aggression and the broad acceptance that China should steal our intellectual property so can have access to the crap cheap stuff it exports. Yet the left and their media lackeys frame him as the second coming. The only thing worse than Obama was Biden— massive overspending, inflation and an open invitation to the world to tap into our welfare state. Yes Trump is crude BUT it’s not his fault he was left with all of the above from Obama plus an open border and elevated prices from Biden, the consequences of which he has to reverse including a vast immigration crackdown for the simple reason that we need to know who is in our country and if your worried about the employment impact of AI (as the left keeps saying will be a problem) the last thing we need is more unskilled labor

The core practices, tools, vocabulary, and culture came from Spain. Spain domesticated cattle in Europe for millennia. Spain mastered mounted herding on the Iberian Peninsula..
After 1492, Spanish conquistadors and colonists brought horses...reintroduced to the Americas after extinction...and longhorn cattle to New Spain...what is now Mexico and the Southwest U.S.
By the 1500s–1600s, the hacienda system in colonial Mexico produced the vaquero: Expert horsemen who roped, branded, drove, and managed massive herds using lariats, chaparreras...chaps... sombreros, spurs, and saddles that were Spanish in design and name.
The word “rodeo” is literally Spanish. “Lasso” is Spanish. “Bronco” is Spanish. “Mustang” derives from Spanish...mesteño.
The entire goddamn lexicon of cowboy life is Spanish because the tradition is Spanish. When Anglo-Americans moved into Texas and the Southwest in the 1800s, they learned ranching from Mexican vaqueros...who were themselves inheriting centuries of Spanish technique. The Texas longhorn drives, the open-range culture, the cattle trails...all built on the foundation laid by Spain centuries earlier.
You mocking Rubio for pointing out that the cowboy’s roots are Spanish is like mocking someone for saying pizza has Italian origins because Americans later added pineapple. It’s not just ignorant... it’s a deliberate, ideologically driven erasure of historical fact to shoehorn your preferred narrative into reality.
Your brain doesn’t malfunction because you lack intelligence. It malfunctions because you’re addicted to the dopamine rush of moral superiority. The random attack happened around 10:05 p.m. on South Atlantic Avenue, just south of Main Street, in Daytona Beach.
Daytona Beach police said the victim, whose age has not been released, suffered a severe neck laceration and was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center. The child’s condition has not been released.
The charges against Long represent his fifth felony case in Volusia County, according to county records, which also show he has been charged in five misdemeanor cases.
In a court filing dated Feb. 10, though, an assistant state attorney wrote that prosecutors would no longer pursue the earlier charges (aggravated assault with a knife) against Long. The filing does not provide any reason for prosecutors dropping those charges.

Happy Mardi Gras, y'all. Just got home from NOLA last night after being there a week. I've never felt safer in NOLA than I have the past two years for Mardi Gras.
