Real estate in my area of central Florida is out of control. One house in my neighborhood went Under contract for $31k over asking price the day it went on the market. It’s basically the same as my house and went for more than double what I paid for my house 5 years ago (my place did need a lot of work when I bought it. Still does actually). This is typical all over my area.

In the middle of doing a refinance right now and our house appraised at $40,000 higher than what we paid less than 3 years ago! The market is insane...Realtors are struggling to hold any inventory! Just read an article recently (can't remember where) saying our city is #22 out of 50 cities that something like ~90% of current residents won't be afford to live in come 10 years from now! Doesn't bode well for this plumber/teacher combo here...Come on slip and fall at the store

Need to figure out a way to watch it without the provider getting ad revenue/viewership credit.

There’s nothing that says you can’t watch it and then refuse to buy any of the advertised products. It gives the network ratings. But you can let the companies know you aren’t buying because they advertised. If such a campaign were highly successful eventually MLB would have to cave or lose broadcasts. That’s far fetched to think it would go that far. However, if enough did so it would put a dent in their bank account. That theory doesn’t work if you attend games though.

For me I will just completely ignore and use their official MLB sponsors list as a guide of what to avoid buying.

Imagine a sports league bullying an entire state because that state wants honest elections.

Georgia’s law does not go far enough. An excuse (absent from the jurisdiction) should absolutely be required for absentee voting.
