That’s standard in Georgia, too. I don’t like it either and not sure why, but it always has been. Your response isn’t serious either, if you think only sheriffs run serious institutions. You must not have watched the presser with Sheriff in Pennsylvania. Give me a break.

No, there are certainly many shitty counties out there. There is cancer among large cities that is spreading to most surrounding cities which is more to my point. Counties that encompass big cities most definitely have shitty sheriffs. The last bastion of decent law enforcement are rural areas.
