Yea. Doug has had some bad misses since Trump took office. I don't think he understood how inept the swamp actually was as benefitting the US.
What's hilarious is how uniformed Europeans and libs are about military strength. people in the comments are under the impression that NATO backs up the US and that we don't actually do anything. They think the EU nations have 3x the military as the US.... meanwhile when Germany was supposed to bring 60 tanks to a NATO war game they only brought 20 because they couldn't find any more that would run.

Under COVID, she panicked and ordered all mink killed. This cost taxpayers around $4 billion. This is a lot of money for our small country.When Trump called, she rejected any discussion of a deal about the sale of Greenland.
This could have given us hundreds of billions of dollars, with which we could have established a sovereign wealth fund and become the most prosperous country on Earth.
Instead, every year, Denmark spends another close a $1 billion on the people of Greenland, plus we spent $4 billion on security there this year.
Denmark is already among the highest-taxed countries in the world. I had to pay 56% tax on a freelance project I did last year, and then 42% capital gains tax on the investment of what was left. As a result, I will not do such projects anymore. There are many such cases. A country can only bear a tax burden up to some amount without harming the willingness to work and the economy.
If we had sold Greenland for $500 billion and put it in a sovereign wealth fund, the yearly return would be about $30 billion (assuming a 6% safe real return).
