There is a border wall in the Middle East that looks like it was built to hold back a zombie apocalypse, but it was not built by Israel. The Egyptian state has diagnosed the radical ideology festering within Gaza as a highly contagious pathogen. As an Iranian, I recognize this sickness immediately. I watched a strain of this extremism feverishly consume my own homeland, destroying it from the inside out. Egypt sees the same symptoms manifesting at their doorstep, and they have quietly implemented a hermetic seal to protect their own nation.
While the world condemns Israel for maintaining a security fence, they remain silent as Egypt fortifies its border against the exact same people. This double standard exposes a harsh reality. The fact that an Arab nation feels the need to build such extreme fortifications proves that the danger inside Gaza is not an Israeli fabrication. It is a reality so malignant that even their own Muslim neighbors have realized that opening that gate is not an act of mercy, but an act of suicide.

Watching these clowns up in Rhode Island doing a press conference on the status of the investigation. God have Mercy these are a bunch of keystone cops. They have no answers about what happened yet, and the local press is clearly getting impatient with them.

I’m worried it’s going to happen Christmas Day. It’s clearly a symbolic religious holiday. I’m on duty that day and plan to tell my firefighters that we have got to have better situational awareness should we respond to anything that sounds fishy.
