• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Robby Dawkins

Many people have said to me, “leave those people in other nations alone, they have chosen their religion and just let them follow it!” But the truth is, I have never met people in those nations that have chosen that religion. They never prayed and accepted that leader as there’s to follow. They never went through a catechism type class or given the understanding that they even had a choice.
These countries were slowly infiltrated, taking advantage of Christian hospitality to the foreigner,. They were welcomed into participate in places of government and slow slowly took over and then changed the laws to make Christianity punishable by death.
Those of us who live in the west need to take heed, learn a valuable lesson. Hospitality and compassion doesn’t mean you handover the keys to the car in your house and let somebody slowly take it over. We accept those people for the purpose of influencing them and showing them a better way to live through steady resolve in our own positions of faith.
So much of Christian Mission‘s work has been undone by people misunderstanding the strength of deception that come through government.
These nations did not once follow Christ because of a particular churches influence or subjugation. But many of the apostles themselves over through the pure message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. But we unwisely stewarded poorly, and lost for the kingdom of God.
Oh Lord, forgive us,help us to repent and once again we ask you, give us the nations for your glory once again!

I voted for this

Flight and routes Every day

A 19-year-old college student who planned to surprise her family for Thanksgiving was detained at Boston Logan Airport and later deported, despite a federal judge’s order blocking her removal, according to her attorney. Any Lucia Lopez Belloza, who arrived in the U.S. from Honduras at age 8, was about to board a flight to Texas last Friday to visit her parents and siblings when officials pulled her aside. She was informed she had an outstanding removal order and was arrested. Court documents obtained by ABC News show that, just hours after her detention, a federal judge ordered the government not to remove her from the U.S. and not to transfer her outside Massachusetts — but her lawyer says she was deported anyway, in apparent defiance of that ruling.
