#News Biden staffers were running a massive "cash for clemency" operation, selling pardons for hefty payoffs, while grants to NGO"s were being laundered back into democrats pockets, according to Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN)

President Donald Trump amplified Burchett's statements saying he plans on voiding the disputed pardons and hold those responsible accountable.

"This is the kind of swamp-draining we need – now," Trump said, calling for DOJ investigations into the alleged crimes.
Burchett claimed that the outgoing Biden administration rubber-stamped thousands of pardons in exchange for money - and used the autopen to make it happen.
He also said during the "corrupt" Biden era, billions in taxpayer-funded grants to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were laundered back into the pockets of Democratic politicians, making the very elites - who approved the funds - rich.
Burchett said there was unchecked power in the Biden White House's final days, where low-level staffers were allegedly running the show and profited handsomely while President Biden ate ice cream.

"There had to be a transaction," Burchett said, insisting the sheer volume – around 8,000 pardons issued via autopen – isn't believable without financial incentives.
The autopen was confirmed to have been used for nearly all Biden's late-term clemency actions, except Hunter Biden's.

Legal experts claim pardons are generally irrevocable, however Burchett points to the autopen, the fact that Biden did not explicitly approve the clemency acts and argues that the fraud is similar to a 1970s Tennessee scandal under Gov. Ray Blanton, where pardons were sold outright for cash.
In that case, the FBI intervened and Blanton was expelled.
Details:

️Staffers were allegedly offered up to $250,000 per pardon, stashed in safety deposit boxes or offshore accounts, allowing them to bypass any real review process.

️With Biden's cognitive decline well-documented – including slurred speech in 2023 Special Counsel interviews – staff allegedly ran documents through a "bogus legal system" auto-signing them.

️Nearly 100% of recent NGO grants, often linked to Ukraine, allegedly flowed back to politicians via consulting fees, board seats, and campaign contributions, with Burchett citing Hunter Biden's Ukrainian dealings as a prime example.

️Burchett invoked the Blanton scandal, where 52 pardons – including for murderers – were traded for bribes, warning history was repeating on a national scale under Biden.

️Burchett predicts implicated staff will "lawyer up" and point fingers at Biden, urging Trump's DOJ to investigate and nullify the pardons.
