Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Put them on a bread and water diet for two years. Two pieces of bread and 36 oz of water daily

Pro tip on buying 90% & other silver for stacking. I work a lot of online auctions for inventory @ my eBay store. I realized I could also get low grade & details (cleaned/scratched/etc) certified silver at/near melt value. Not pretty but it cuts out the fakes Just stuff purely for the silver value

Our nation was born out of a war with that “oldest ally” and in many respects, that war continues — from the UK role in Russiagate to destroy our democracy, the UK role in the US censorship industrial complex to silence our opinions, the UK influence over US foreign policy in Foggy Bottom, UK billionaires like Sir Chris Hohn spending $553 million to influence US domestic politics, and that’s to say nothing of the hundreds of our very worst Blob creatures in Washington having a career-long transatlantic revolving door with London.
I wonder why Michelle Obama’s “growing up black” was so much worse than my “growing up black,” when we’re just about the same age.
While she was fighting for her life in the white neighborhoods of Chicago, I was traveling across the city to my white junior high school on public transportation…alone.
When she was “seeing talented Black relatives stuck in limited jobs because society didn’t give them chances”……
I was watching 3 of my cousins become successful educators in the Philadelphia school system……
and my aunt become the legendary Patti LaBelle.
When she was “being judged as an “angry Black woman” whenever she was confident or outspoken”……
I was being hailed a genius for those very same things.
Yet she went on to become First Lady of the United States……and I’m just some guy on X who’s so glad he didn’t vote for her husband.

Boston, 2013:Chechen-Muslim Tsarnaev brothers built pressure-cooker bombs in their apartment. Russian FSB warned FBI in 2011. Mosque kicked Tamerlan out for screaming “Allahu Akbar” & jihad rants. Neighbors saw fireworks, bomb parts, and heard “kill Americans.” All ignored - fear of Islamophobia. 3 dead. 264 maimed.
The pattern is undeniable: People see. People know. But fear of being called “Islamophobic” keeps them silent. And silence kills.
What exactly have we imported? How many more children, families, and communities must be sacrificed before the West admits the truth?
This is what they do to their own children. Imagine what happens when our children collide with the same ideology - one our leaders protect, promote, and import every single day.
Silence isn’t compassion. Silence is complicity. Sara paid for it with her life.
