Talk about inflation. A nurse friend said on the night shift they were asked to go through people's charts and place bogus charges in charts of people with insurance to recoup items used but not written down in the ER.
I've had several of these tests done recently at clinics outside the VA at VA expense. I get a copy of all charges submitted to the VA and what the VA pays in reimbursements. The MRI and CT scan charges in that list are double or triple what outside vendors I've been to charge the govt. I'm guessing neither the MRI or CT scans cost anywhere close to what is being charged.
There was a video on here months ago taken by a cab driver at the scene. That video showed clear muzzle flashes from a 4th/5th floor window.
