• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

A lot of you are asking NYC cops to stay and fight back against Mamdani.

Fact is, from what I’ve been learning about them, they’re tired of fighting.

They’re tired from eight years of de Blasio and his pro criminal “reforms.”

They’re tired of an openly anti-cop public advocate.

They’re tired of a majority openly anti-cop city council.

They’re tired of an openly anti-cop CCRB.

They’re tired of the protestors, “auditors,” and general anti-cop sentiment around the city.

Mamdani is the last straw. By electing him, you let them all know exactly what you think of them.

They’re coming out to Long Island where I am, going upstate, or just leaving the state for better opportunities.

It’s done. The other side won. Cops are human beings and simply can’t do it anymore. Look at Seattle, Portland, and every other city that has repeatedly beaten the hell out of their cops for political points.

Elections have consequences. A dwindling police force is one of them.

Dear Republicans take note: Putin banned George Soros in 2015. The Russian government shut down Soros’ entire network — the Open Society Foundations and all connected NGOs.

They ruled his operations were “a threat to national security,” banned all funding ties, and made it illegal for his organizations to operate in the country.

Their reasoning: Soros’ groups were “undermining the constitutional order” and “destabilizing society.”

In plain English: They kicked out his influence — completely.

Meanwhile in America, we let Soros and his network buy prosecutors, rig policies, flip cities into war zones, empty prisons, and turn criminals into victims and victims into criminals.

He has bought:
• District Attorneys
• Judges
• Politicians
• Activist groups
• Media narratives

And Republicans just sit there like:
“Well we don’t want to upset our billionaire donors…”

ENOUGH.

America needs to cut him off completely.
Shut down the foundations.
Ban the political money pipelines.
End the influence operations disguised as “non-profits.”
Freeze the funding networks that are destroying cities from the inside out.

If other countries can protect themselves from this level of political manipulation, then America better find a spine and do the same.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Cornell University has agreed to pay $60 million and accept the Trump administration’s interpretation of civil rights laws in order to restore federal funding and end investigations into the Ivy League school.

Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff announced the agreement on Friday, saying it upholds the university’s academic freedom while restoring more than $250 million in research funding that the government withheld amid investigations into alleged civil rights violations. He said the government’s funding freeze had stalled research, upended careers and threatened the future of academic programs.

The university agreed to pay $30 million directly to the U.S. government along with another $30 million toward research that will support U.S. farmers.

The agreement is the latest struck between President Donald Trump's administration and elite colleges he has accused of tolerating antisemitism and promoting far-left ideas. Trump is still locked in a standoff with Harvard, the nation's oldest and wealthiest university, and lately has tried an incentive-based approach by offering preferential access to federal funding for other schools that sign onto his political agenda.

Kotlikoff said the agreement revives the campus’ partnership with the federal government “while affirming the university’s commitment to the principles of academic freedom, independence, and institutional autonomy that, from our founding, have been integral to our excellence.”

Keep crying, Ken.

The problem here is whatever happens in Florida is a delay for them. They will do everything to delay any trials on indictments, they will appeal any conviction, they will get a friendly judge to let them out of prison during all appeals and every other delay tactic will be used. Take them to military tribunals where no civilian court has a say. They will die of old age before stepping in prison or swinging. This is the game plan. Unfortunately, it's being played in their defense and at the DOJ.

The best/smart ones refused the vaccine and were fired. The rest were completely compliant and will do the bidding of the mayor if they don’t leave. Then we will have graduating cadet classes filled with 500 Muslims and fat orc women.
