OHP IMMIGRATION ARRESTS: Oklahoma Highway Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement just arrested 70 illegal immigrants on Interstate 40 in eastern Oklahoma — 34 of them were driving semi’s or large commercial vehicles. This was a 15-hour operation, similar to an operation on I-40 in western Oklahoma that resulted in 120 illegal immigrant arrests.
The people arrested originally came from Tajikistan, India, Montenegro, El Salvador, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Haiti, Ukraine, Turkiye, Mauritania, Cuba, Guatemala, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Honduras, Colombia, and Mexico.
States that issued the Commercial Driver Licenses for the arrested include CA, WA, PA, IL, NC, GA, FL, NJ, TX, MN, OH, and NY.
