• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Yes and No, but really No. If that happened, the entirety of the VPN service’s business you’re using will go bankrupt after the media reports it. It’s akin to asking “will the engine fall out of my car if I close the door too hard?” Yeah it can happen, but it would never happen. If you’re using a reputable service that you pay for, you’ll be fine.
So can I watch tentacle porn or not on my 1.99 vpn?

Every single mortgage document that Letitia James signed over the last 42 years had falsified information, this was not a 'one-off - according to forensic accountant Sam Antar

Antar, a retired forensic accountant known for his meticulous unraveling of financial puzzles, claimed that this is no isolated slip-up but part of a larger history of alleged misconduct.
Antar, who stumbled upon these inconsistencies while reviewing public filings, stressed his non-partisan approach,

"I'm not part of this tit-for-tat with Trump or anything like that."
"This isn't a complicated case. It's as plain as day."
James purchased a Virginia property in 2008 but failed to report its mortgage in her 2021 and 2022 financial disclosures to New York State. Suddenly, in 2023, two mortgages appeared—totaling more than twice the property's value—raising immediate red flags.
The mortgage clause specified the home as a second primary residence, however James's tax returns showed she didn't spend any time in the home, and claimed rental income.
This allowed her lower residential interest rates and insurance costs, while she never informed the bank of its commercial use.
Beyond the indicted Virginia home, Antar flagged two other properties—one on Sterling Drive in Virginia and another in Brooklyn—as potential sites of similar fraud.

The Brooklyn building, certified for five units, was allegedly financed and insured as a smaller four-unit residential property, dodging higher commercial rates.
In 2020, during the purchase, James reported income from the property in her disclosures. But from 2021 through 2024, that income vanished from records—potentially understating her finances to state overseers.

So for two years, you were a useless hack — nothing but a shrill voice that annoyed everyone around you.
And now that the deal is finally done, you can’t even bring yourself to congratulate the man who actually got it done?
You are truly one pathetic loser.

Yeah. “Surge in humanitarian aid” means untraceable, unaudited cash from taxpayers. That was the only point she wanted to make. It always comes back to screwing the taxpayers.

Los Angeles County officials voted on Tuesday to declare a state of emergency over ongoing federal immigration raids.

The proclamation gives the county the power to assist residents they say have been impacted financially by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) action.

The declaration was introduced by County Supervisors Lindsey P. Horvath and Janice Hahn and passed by a 4-1 vote, with Supervisor Kathryn Barger opposing.

LA protests timeline: How ICE raids sparked demonstrations and Trump to send in the military

Los Angeles County is home to over 3 million immigrants, according to supervisors, who said the ICE raids have "caused widespread fear" and led to "decreased attendance at workplaces, disruption of local economies, and strain on critical services such as schools, hospitals, and places of worship."

Rent relief for tenants who have fallen behind as a result of the ICE raids and money for legal aid and other services are among the provisions in the declaration.

News organizations including The New York Times, The Associated Press and the conservative Newsmax television network said Monday they will not sign a Defense Department document about its new press rules, making it likely the Trump administration will evict their reporters from the Pentagon.

Those outlets say the policy threatens to punish them for routine news gathering protected by the First Amendment. The Washington Post, The Atlantic and Reuters on Monday also publicly joined the group that says it will not be signing.

"Reuters is bound by its commitment to accurate, impartial and independent news," the agency said in a statement. “We also steadfastly believe in the press protections afforded by the U.S. Constitution, the unrestricted flow of information and journalism that serves the public interest without fear or favor. The Pentagon’s new restrictions erode these fundamental values.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reacted by posting the Times' statement on X and adding a hand-waving emoji. His team has said that reporters who don't acknowledge the policy in writing by Tuesday must turn in badges admitting them to the Pentagon and clear out their workspaces the next day.

The new rules bar journalist access to large swaths of the Pentagon without an escort and say Hegseth can revoke press access to reporters who ask anyone in the Defense Department for information — classified or otherwise — that he has not approved for release.

Newsmax, whose on-air journalists are generally supportive of President Donald Trump’s administration, said that “we believe the requirements are unnecessary and onerous and hope that the Pentagon will review the matter further.”

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the rules establish “common sense media procedures.”
