I don’t think anything is going to happen to Clinton or Obama. I’ll be surprised if they even have to testify under oath. I’m hoping we can get to the Brennan, clapper, strzok, schiff type of level. Jail time and/or financial ruin or it’s not even a deterrent

His statement that “the EU must become a state” is not only delusional—it is openly anti-democratic. No citizen of Europe has ever voted for such an outcome, and yet Draghi speaks as if it were an inevitability.
This is the mindset of a bureaucratic oligarch who sees nations as obstacles to be dissolved, rather than sovereign communities with their own histories and identities.
Draghi’s career tells the story clearly. As governor of the European Central Bank, he forced austerity on countries like Greece and Italy, stripping them of democratic choice under the pretext of “saving the euro.”
He turned elected governments into mere managers of Brussels’ diktats, making finance more powerful than parliaments. Later, as prime minister of Italy, he governed without ever having stood in an election. He was imposed as a “solution” by the same elite circles he always served—Goldman Sachs, the ECB, Brussels technocracy.
His legacy is not prosperity or sovereignty; it is dependency, stagnation, and humiliation for the nations that bent to his rules.
Now, in his twilight, Draghi dares to preach that Europe must become a single state. A man who wrecked economies with austerity, who replaced democracy with banker rule, now wants to erase nations altogether.
He talks of “critical junctures,” but what he really means is that the EU is weak and unloved, and that his answer is more centralization, more bureaucracy, more power for people like him. This is not vision—it is desperation, clinging to a dying imperial dream that only alienates Europeans further.
Draghi is the perfect face of the EU: unelected, arrogant, and detached from the people. He should be remembered not as a savior, but as a symbol of why Europe lost its vitality—because it let technocrats and bankers decide the fate of nations.
