I do not need a t-shirt, thank you. The last time I was invited to go to Las Vegas my dear Mortimer was alive. I fear going back would make me inconsolable.

I wonder how we got there now. President Nixon talked with the astronauts by telephone and they filmed the lunar capsul fly away. I believed ot when it happened certainly everyone did. We were so proud. I don't understand how they retrieved the video though. One of my sons is a physicist and explaind to me you would need 40 inches of lead around all old movie reel tape to survive space radiation. That small lunar capsule did not have that kind of space.

NASA lost that technology and are too busy drawing depictions of space to figure that out now. I'd just like to get high speed rail and decent air travel in this country. But alas, we are slaves in a third world plantation masquerading as a developed nation.

I was pretty close to him here and what he is saying was accurate. It was a very confusing day. The Capitol Police were letting people in and it wasn't violent for the most part. It more or less looked like the police were condoning and welcoming people inside the capitol, for protest or tour or both. I mean code pink does this shit every day.

Well they did have to call a bunch of techs in their 80's out of retirement to show people how to work on some of our nukes because it just kind of slipped their memory to train on the old stuff. You can look at stone mason work and see how easy it is to lose a skill relatively quickly. I live in KY and we have some insane limestone blocks, stairs and buildings made of stone and if you try to get the same work done today you have to look really hard to find someone who can do it.
