Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory proposed by Canadian journalist and conspiracy theorist Serge Monast in the 1990s, first detailed in his 1994 book Project Blue Beam (NASA).
The theory alleges that global elites, particularly NASA and the United Nations, are collaborating on a covert plan to establish a totalitarian New World Order by using advanced technology to manipulate global populations.
According to Monast, the plan involves four phases. The first phase entails faking earthquakes and archaeological discoveries to discredit major world religions, particularly Christianity and Islam, by sowing doubt about their historical foundations.
The second phase involves using 3D holographic laser projections to create a "massive space show" in the sky, depicting religious figures such as Jesus, Muhammad, and Buddha in ways tailored to different cultures, ultimately merging them into a single messianic or Antichrist-like figure.
The third phase supposedly involves the use of extremely low-frequency (ELF) waves and synthetic telepathy to transmit thoughts into people's minds, making them believe they are receiving divine communication.
The fourth phase includes simulating supernatural or paranormal events, such as a fake alien invasion or rapture-like scenarios, to instill fear and drive humanity toward accepting a one-world government and a new, unified religion.
