I saw where Carney is trying to pass some legislation to prevent Alberta or the other 2 from leaving. I feel like it will have a reverse effect. They are treating the western provinces like subjects and want to rule over them from Ottawa and not allow them to choose to leave.... Trump cut off contact with Canada on trade so I feel like Trump going to crush Ottawa.

While the Texas Supremes are 100% GOP that doesn't mean they vote GOP. Many of them have Dem sympathies.
Before the GOP took over the Texas Legislature, the democrats ruled Texas. Gerrymandering was a tool they used savagely to rule Texas as a one party state for over 100 years.
