Treasury Absorbs Fed

No, the U.S. Treasury did not absorb the Federal Reserve. The two institutions remain separate entities with distinct responsibilities. The Federal Reserve is the nation's central bank, responsible for managing the money supply and interest rates, while the Treasury manages government revenues and debt.

A significant agreement known as the Treasury-Fed Accord, reached on March 4, 1951, actually affirmed the separation between the two institutions, ending the Treasury's control over the Fed's monetary policy. This accord allowed the Federal Reserve to regain independence in setting interest rates without interference from the Treasury.

Claims that the Federal Reserve was absorbed by the Treasury, such as those suggesting a merger during the 2020 pandemic, are incorrect. While the Fed and Treasury have collaborated closely during financial crises—such as through emergency lending facilities backed by Treasury funds during the 2008 crisis and the pandemic—these actions did not alter the fundamental independence of the Federal Reserve or result in its absorption into the Treasury.
Im getting same information but I'm sure as you are that was reported. You could try going through 8200 pages....Screenshot_20250730_144615_X.png

Way OT, but I only really read this thread.

Pretty sure my left shoulder cuff is torn. Had surgery on my right one a few years back, and not sure Ill ever get shoulder surgery again. Anyone done any PRP or stem cell stuff to shoulders?

Just had my final injection of PRP. Feeling much better as I’m slowing getting back to using my arm.
Couple of call outs:
- If you have a complete tear, PRP won’t help. It’s either surgery or replacement at this point.
- Do some additional research. I read some contrasting articles in regards to drinking alcohol during the procedures as it thins the blood. I drink moderately(1-2 drinks over a weeks time).
- Any rehab I did myself was primarily stretching. No band or weight work. I’m just now working that back into the rotation. Last injection was June 24. So I basically took the entire window of injections + one month after the last before I reintroduced resistance or weight work.
Good luck!

Thanks. Except for the alcohol in moderation part. No deal there.

Of course, no mention of the fact that it was a dozen poc attacking limited-melanin victims...

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Five people have been charged in a bloody, late-night brawl in downtown Cincinnati over the weekend that involved dozens of people and raised concerns about crime in the Ohio city.

A video of the fight early Saturday shows a crowd milling about before several people start throwing punches. One man falls to the ground and was repeatedly punched and kicked by bystanders. Another woman is punched in the face and falls to the ground, lying motionless before another woman helps her. She can be seeing bleeding from the mouth.

“I am outraged by the vicious fight that occurred downtown,” Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval said in a statement. “It is horrifying to watch, and this is unacceptable and disgusting behavior is intolerable in any part of our community.”

Yeah, I've seen the same stuff from different X posters
Seen it all before. August 1st will come and go and the can will get kicked further down the road. Meanwhile Minnesota has 50 mooslimb mayor's and gfifters keep grifting. Be happy to be wrong and if there is ever a Vegas will happily buy the first round. Until then, I am stocking silver, brass, and tin. Skol!

Mayors of mid sized metro areas are nothing but incompetent attention whores. Most of the city council as well.

They also care very little about the small businesses their incompetent policies hurt.
Politicians get into office with Gooses that lay Golden Eggs. They enact ordinances which penalize the Goose until the Goose stops laying golden eggs. They lose sight or don't care that their inane social stances are harming rather than rewarding the tax generators and taxpayers. Trump is showing the way and look at the resistance.

If this is the scale we are using, this is not good news for @ttyh

I always preferred Kalik, but both are good beach beers
Can't dink Kalik unless it ice ice cold and all the Sands is gone. Belikin is the best Caribbean lager but can't find that here. It is the Belizian water that makes that beer so damn good. You don't get Bud mud, Busch mush, the kalik quicks, or the sands rans. Worked on many a Caribbean islands and Belikin is king. Stag beer front T&T is good and if course El Presidente. Just IMHO. Skol!
