Not to be 'that guy,' and you are correct, but there is a "back side," as the Earth always is exposed to the same side of the moon.

We cant see the back side of the moon from the Earth because it is tidal locked. However, we have satellites outside the moons orbit of the earth. These see the back side. We also have satellites that actually orbit the moon. They record and map the lunar surface. They see everything.
