I shamefully admit the shield maiden and I spent our Ft. Lauderdale layover at Margaritaville. Mostly at the adult pool sippin' overpriced and mediocre boat drinks. Anyway, I agree. We saw some beautiful skies and seas.
Side note. We got 6 boat drinks in when the shield maiden started wondering why we never got confirmation and/or early check in emails from United about our next day flight to Eleuthera. So she called and found out the small airline operating those flights on behalf of United went under and cancelled all their flights. I went from happy 6 boat drinks with rum floaters happy buzz to I am gonna throw this TV out our 11th story balcony pissed buzzed in 10 seconds. Proud of the 10 seconds btw. The shieldmaiden as always calm, cool, and collected got United to book us seats on an American Eagle flight for around the same time but out of Miami Int'l Airport. When I get back in 2 weeks I got some words for United. If the shieldmaiden hadn't have wondered about our flight with United we would have been at FTL Airport with our fingers up our nose. Final conclusion. From the shitty counter agents with attitude to subpar flight attendants our plane travel industry could use a quality company to steal 75 percent of that business with a simple smile and quality in flight service. Our industry as a whole sucks. First class now is like economy in the 80s.

The ease to which stuff was put on Attkisson's computers just emphasizes how our Congressmen are duped into only sending tough sounding letters (Jim Jordan) or having their inquiries/hearings result in nothing burgers with no resulting charges or prosecutions. It is how the alphabet agencies control them. Remember Johnson being against more aid to Ukraine and then changed to giving Ukraine aid after a 30 minute trip to the SKIF.
