Some of the issues is the seeds aren't as good/vigorous as they used to be.
Same happened to pork. When they tried the other white meat campaign they bred pigs to have leaner meat. The campaign didn't help at all but now there is virtually no marbling in the muscle of pigs the way it used to be

It is actually the shoulder. It is called a pork butt because that is how they used to be shipped. A butt is a large wooden barrel. Pork shoulder was packed in the barrel(butt) and shipped by train or wagon.
The butt would arrive at the store and people would order pork from the butt. This shortened over time to pork butt.
A butt barrel is really big, about 130 gallons. So its alot. Now you also know where we got the term “buttload”. Alot of shit is a buttload of shit. Just like this post.

Cats are great. We had this rat issue a few years back as we live next to a reservation and all sorts of critters are out and about - fox, bear, deer, cottonmouths, fucking turtles out the ass; and even an occasional gator will show up - but yeah lots of rats and mice too. So anyway, we got this cat and almost immediately the rats were nowhere to be found. Absolutely incredible. I’ll always have a cat now.

Our cat Echo. Natural born killer. Mice, mar.ots, and birds are all fair game. Dodged a great horn pel attack and tried a counter attack on it. Loves stalking my fish.

Some animal control departments are delivering feral cats to apartments to control rodents. After the cats eliminate the issue, they are trapped and moved to other apartments. I have several clients who do this.
