I bought one of these during blm riots. I bought a new one for this summer. Shoots 30ft and has several blast in each can. Not too expensive and it's better than those little pepper spray bottles.
When I moved in to my house some neighbors had pits that roamed. They circled me and my dog and I have no idea how I got my dog out of it but I did. I told the people and they blew me off. I didn't want to kill their dogs bc they had shitty owners.
Couple weeks go by walking him at 430am. 3 pits start to circle us. I blasted all 3. About 530am my door starts banging. Dude was raising hell that I sprayed his mutts w bear spray. I told him he is lucky I didn't just shoot them. Said call the cops and we can find out who is being lawful. He started acting out(I'd known the dude 15 years) I maced the shit out of him. I called the cops to get ahead of it.
Short story long they got rid of their dogs and kicked my door in and stole all my guns that didn't burn up in the fire.
Pretty stressful time

Research suggests the Senate passed the bill without including railroad workers in the "no tax on overtime" provision.
There is some uncertainty, as the exact amendment number (2613) was not voted on, but related efforts were not successful.

BackgroundThe amendment in question, introduced by Senator Maria Cantwell, aimed to include railroad workers in a "no tax on overtime" provision within a larger bill, likely the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBB). This provision would exempt overtime earnings from taxation, benefiting many workers, but initially excluded railroad workers.Legislative OutcomeOn July 1, 2025, the Senate passed the bill, but evidence leans toward the amendment not being included. Reports indicate that while there was significant advocacy for including railroad workers, the specific amendment was not considered during the debate, and the final bill did not extend the tax break to them.ConclusionGiven the available information, it appears the amendment did not make it into the bill today, though efforts are ongoing to address this in future legislation.

Jake- it seems like that'd hurt your industry and not help the owners at all.
If you work 60hr 20hr not being taxed it a helluva raise.
The owners of RR wouldn't care if their employees or govt got the money so it doesn't seem like that would be the issue.why would they want to main tain taxes on RR workers?

Seems like it was just an oversight that they failed to address.

I doubt this was worded to leave out those who fall under the RLA on purpose

Ya know-big pharma may have immunity but who,cdc HHS does not have protection for burying that report on autism. Yes you may sue and win but cash doesn't replace children's lives and the govt officials suffer no consequence other than loss of govt job. These people should have skin in the game. Burying that report at the least should FORCE negligence charges. And if kids or adults die charges. No govt employee should be able to burying a report especially this magnitude

Texas authorizes use of gold and silver as legal tender for day-to-day transactions

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said Sunday he signed a bill into law that designates gold and silver as legal tender for everyday financial transactions within the state.

The bill, expected to take effect in May 2027, amends the state government code to recognize the precious metals as legal tender and for residents to use them in everyday transactions based on the state comptroller's determined value at the time.

The covert seizures of banks implicated in Epstein-related operations and cartel money laundering executed under Executive Order 14148 (revoking prior directives) and a subsequent 2025 order targeting financial crimes represent a silent purge of a deep-state (DS) financial network. High-profile institutions, including those with ties to offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands and Swiss vaults, have been quietly nationalized since March 2025, with operations transferred to a Treasury-led task force.

A planned failure of a major bank, such as JPMorgan Chase or Wells Fargo, is slated for late 2025, orchestrated to mimic a natural collapse while pinning the blame on Federal Reserve mismanagement under Jerome Powell. This controlled demolition will serve as a public spectacle, eroding trust in fiat currency and setting the stage for a Fort Knox audit. Insider accounts from a Treasury official, codenamed “Goldsmith,” reveal that the audit will uncover a 70% depletion of the vault’s gold reserves since the 1970s, replaced with tungsten-filled bars a deception orchestrated by a cabal of bankers and MIC profiteers to sustain endless wars.

I'll go into more detail on my P-treon.

Bill passed without including this amendment.

Good way to alienate the unuon workers Trump has won over
It almost seems purposeful. Pubs are an opposition party by their nature. They got used to fundraising off of stopping dems for 50 years. When Newt took the house and we controlled both houses the last couple decades.... the pubs never learned to actually lead and govern.

I didn't see anyone do anything wrong. 2am I get it. But if you want that type of privacy don't live in an apt community. Person bitching is in the wrong. Black fatigue is real. And I'm sure if something went down it would have been a zoo, but in the video it is just a shitload of kids hanging out. Those young people have done nothing wrong at all
I watched a local news piece on the pop up party.... One older woman and her mother kept their paddle boards and outdoor stuff at a little dock on the property. That all got stolen and also everything else that wasn't locked down and connected to concrete. Several vehicles were damaged in different ways and tons of trash was left everywhere.

The people who live there are going to have their rent go up to pay for cleanup and to add security. Private property is still private in an apartment complex. I lived in an apt complex that had a pool and they drained it and filled it in because Mexicans were sneaking in and trashing it... and that was 25 years ago.
