Randy Weaver and family were in that area.
I remember meeting him at a gun show at the Gwinnett’s county fair grounds..in like 1998. He was signing his book. My buddy was/is a big libertarian, bought the book, along with a 9mm and scope and laser pointer from some gun dealer:). We chatted with him for 5 minutes. At the time I only remember hearing about his story from the news and the press seemed like they de-personalized Randy. Made it personal by talking with him, had empathy, red pilled me on how evil the government can be.

Anyway whenever someone references him, I think of this event.

Sort of like Meatloaf and me. He was 3 years older and lived one street over. I only hung out with him playing baseball. His Dad bought red and blue hats for all the kids in the neighborhood. We divided up in teams and played for the summer. He was a very good player for someone his size.

FYI aluminum cans

GROK
Aluminum cans are typically sprayed with a thin protective coating, often an epoxy-based or acrylic-based lacquer, on their internal surfaces at the bottling plant. This coating, commonly referred to as an "internal lacquer" or "lining," serves several purposes:
  1. Corrosion Protection: It prevents the acidic or carbonated contents (like soda, beer, or energy drinks) from reacting with the aluminum, which could cause corrosion or affect the beverage's taste.
  2. Flavor Preservation: The coating ensures the beverage's flavor remains consistent by preventing metal leaching into the liquid.
  3. Safety and Quality: It maintains the integrity of the can and ensures the contents are safe for consumption.
Historically, many of these coatings contained Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical used in epoxy resins. However, due to health concerns, many manufacturers have shifted to BPA-free alternatives, such as acrylic or polyester-based coatings, in response to consumer demand and regulatory changes.
The specific type of coating can vary by manufacturer and beverage type, as different beverages (e.g., highly acidic sodas vs. beer) require tailored formulations to ensure compatibility. For precise details about a specific brand or product, additional information from the manufacturer would be needed, as this isn't always publicly disclosed.

Lot of new data says it was built to keep people in and not the Mongols out. Many places the arrow slits are on the inside and it's easy to cross from the outside onto the wall. Doors on the inside are defended better and have more arrow slits too.
