ID, SSN, work permits, the whole thing. Filed & accepted with a wink & a nod I’d bargain, but the employer isn’t an investigator & as long as the paperwork is there nothing much they can do or they get sued.

With all that has been known and released documenting the theft of the 2020 election, no judge or gov't agency would allow legal challenges even though the theft was real. Wray and many others need to be charged and prosecuted. However, it appears like they will all skate away free. Probably because it will expose people across the board politically and Trump needs many of them to enact his agenda. That's when they decide to show up to work. Knowing what happened is bad enough. Refusal to hold people/countries accountable is much worse.
After leaving CBP I worked for a private company. We used many illegals as laborers. Each person showed us SS cards needed for our records so they could work and the company was documented. It was not unusual for us to see the same SS card presented by several workers. One would come in the office and present documents and then go outside and give the same SS card to another person who presented the same card. All the company had to do was have a SS card. It was not the company's job to verify the authenticity of the card.
