When Trump mentioned shortly after being elected about eliminating the DOEd, they went apoplectic claiming our education rank worldwide hadn't slipped from 1st to 26th since the DOE originated.

Main reason for the outrages is there are many two government income families living here. I suspect many are losing their jobs.
