• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

It amazes me how some of the smartest minds in our movement have seemingly become addicted to dooming out and finding reasons to be miserable.

Nothing is ever good enough for these people.

Yes. Ask questions and call out the bullshit. I’m not against that at all.

What I am against is immediately beating any bit of good news over the head with a shovel made of black pills.

It’s counter productive and foments a shit vibration.

Don’t know about y’all - but I’m actively trying to lift the vibration of those around me. Seems a much more productive path.

Wtf

The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their Super Bowl LIX win, have decided against visiting the White House, a decision that has ignited a spectrum of reactions across the nation. This choice reflects a broader conversation about the intersection of sports and politics, with some fans lauding the team for taking a stand, while others lament the break from tradition. Although public opinion is inferred to be divided, the Eagles' decision underscores a significant moment where sports teams navigate political landscapes. The tradition of championship teams visiting the White House, established since the 1980 Pittsburgh Steelers, continues to evolve, with the Eagles' choice adding a new chapter to this ongoing narrative.
