Nope. At least his credit cards didn't contact us until the death certificate was recorded. We used one of his credit cards to pay for his funeral. It sort of forced the CC company's hand to reissue the cards in my Mom's name since she had none of her own. What baffles me is why state and local gov'ts don't automatically remove names from the voter rolls (and other places) as soon as a death certificate is filed. Seems like a no brainer.
