I figured I’d watch some cnn for inauguration coverage. Should be fun I thought.

I made it through 30 seconds and they were talking about how great Biden/harris are for creating a peaceful transfer of power and how bad orange man is for not doing that 4 years ago. I’m out.

Where are we watching the festivities today? Fox News is not an acceptable answer. Tia

I usually go to live feeds via yt or x. I don't need the comments unless it is Gutfield or Waters

Rachel Vindman, you feel hurt now? Wait until you get into prison.

Get all those pardon recipients before committees now. They will surely perjure themselves. Send them to prison for that. Don't care how they are convicted...just convicted and sentenced. Seems like jurisdiction would be anywhere in the US since their misdeeds touched all the citizens. Take them out of the DC court system.

May take time to root out all the deep state operatives in government. Guessing there is more sabotage coming.
Bet on it.

The MSM is making it sound all jolly and 'Oh what a great day it is.' as if they were always reporting the news instead of making it up. Thinking we'll forget?

They've all come on board just as Bezos and Zuckerbucks and all the rest of the oligarchs paying homage to the ONE.

Sycophants all!

Disgusting.

OK, Fauci et al got pardons. They only apply in the US. Get some other country to bring Fauci et al up on charges. Ask for extradition and send them away. Hungary asks for Soros. Grant their request.
That's thinking outside the box!!

Milley can still be court martialed. Probably all of them. Q told us the military is the only way.

If a president pardons someone can the military still court martial them?

Yes, a presidential pardon does not necessarily prevent the military from court-martialing an individual. Here's why:
  • Jurisdiction: The military has its own separate legal system, governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). A presidential pardon typically applies to federal offenses, but the military can still exercise jurisdiction over its members for service-related offenses under the UCMJ.
  • Nature of Offense: If the offense for which the individual was pardoned was also a military offense, the military might still have the authority to prosecute under its own laws. However, if the pardon explicitly covers military offenses or if the offense was solely within military jurisdiction, the scenario might be different.
  • Double Jeopardy: There's an argument related to double jeopardy, which prevents someone from being tried twice for the same offense. However, military law and civilian law can sometimes treat offenses differently, meaning what might be considered one offense in civilian court could be two or more under the UCMJ.
  • Pardon Scope: The language and scope of the pardon are crucial. If a pardon is broad and explicitly includes military offenses, it might preclude further military action. However, if it's narrow or silent on military jurisdiction, the military could interpret that they still have the authority to proceed.
  • Precedence and Interpretation: There have been cases where individuals pardoned by the President for civilian crimes were still subject to military discipline. The exact outcome can depend on how previous cases have been interpreted and applied by military courts.
In summary, while a presidential pardon can significantly limit the avenues for prosecution in civilian courts, it does not automatically bar the military from conducting a court-martial if the offense falls under military jurisdiction or if the pardon's scope does not explicitly cover military offenses. Each situation would depend on the specifics of the case, the language of the pardon, and the interpretation by military legal authorities.
