The AI revolution, that we are all living in, will be incredible. As far as a comparison; The Covid pandemic reduced GDP by less than the AI revolution will increase GDP in 2025.
I think there are only three frontier tier AI supercomputers. Maybe four.
Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), Amazon, and possibly Elon’s. Not sure about that last one because it is privately owned. Grok.
Frontier level AI are the largest data set and therefore the smartest. They have this because they slso have to have the most processing power. The most number of the most expensive processing chips. GPU by Nvidia, or Broadcomm brand.
These Frontier machines are on giant server farms. They are super expensive to run. Such high demands for electricity, they are buying and restoring old nuclear power plants. Think on that.
These server farms also demand a water source. Such technology that we have is still not far enough to create frictionless electrical travel. So heat is created as a by product of all the electrical usage.. alot of heat. Sothe buildings are cooled by air conditioning that uses water cooled condensers. Water towers.
So, the frontier level AI are few and expensive to run. Think absolute power consolidation.
Already they think the frontier AI is smart enough that it is being used to train smaller AI models. And those trained AI are being used to train lower tier AI models. A more and more reduced frame of reference that can never be current.
What you have in your phone is about three steps from frontier.
So….. to sum it up. Invest in the companies that have frontier AI.
