I would not have won a bet that Connecticut would be one of first 5 states to reopen.
You'd be surprised with the amount of conservatives our state has. We have gained grounds lately within the state houses and the gubernatorial race Lamont won, was not by a margin you may expect in a state that is considered a democrat stronghold. I believe the state will turn some shade of red in the coming years. With all that said, Lamont hasn't been nearly as bad as some of his counterparts in neighboring states. (Cuomo is a disaster that even progressives want to get away from and Murphy from NJ is just as bad, but he isn't as loud as Cuomo in the media) Lamont is certainly not perfect but I will take him all day over people like Whitmer, Newsome, Cumo, ect...)
