• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Nothing is impossible with God
This is. God doesn't break promises.

Genesis 8:21-22

21 The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though[c] every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

22 “As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”

Genesis 9:8-17

8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”

Francis needs to open up his Bible and hit his knees and pray for forgiveness for calling God a liar and purposely bearing false witness to His flock for personal and political gain.

If your Shieldmaiden and friends run short on veggies, let me know. I'll ship all the carrots I can find for Misty.

Y'all ever read or watch the movie We Bought a Zoo?

My family (especially my husband) lives in fear that I will eventually get my way, bit by bit/animal by animal, and turn our back property into an animal sanctuary.

I have deer that live in my woods. I love watching them. I'll have to search for the pic of the buck that casually strolled out one morning. We were both shocked to be looking at each other.

They even got used to Guinness chasing them and would play along. I've had people try to come onto my property to go after the deer because they won't stop eating the hostas.🙄 I might restrain myself from shooting you trying to break into my house (okay, no I won't, but I'll feel a twinge of regret and say a prayer). I will not hesitate to shoot to keep anybody off my property to protect the animals that are just trying to live their lives....

We're not in Alaska or nowhere North Dakota. Nobody is going to eat the venison they shoot in my backyard in Dayton, Ohio. DLM and Dots are right here. Do not shoot my deer.

Edit... found the pic. Until that morning, I had no idea he was back there. It's fuzzy because my camera was smudged, but we were about 20 feet apart. He froze and just watched me. After that morning, I guess he figured I was no threat and would just come out to graze and roam whenever he felt like it.

I lived in Wyo for a bit and knew a guy that found a deer fawn missing a leg. He built a leg out of pvc and cable that allowed the dude to walk around and grow. He eventually got big enough he called the state and they came to put it in some kind of protected area. He sent us a picture 15ish years ago of that 3 legged deer and his rack was huge. I love watching deer now more than ever liked hunting them when I was young.

Am I the only one that doesn't care if JFK himself was on Fox news, I would skip it?

I love Kayleigh, but will not even watch so much as a YT clip of her on Fox news.

Fuk Dem.

No sir, you are not alone. I used to watch lots of it...Outnumbered, The Five, Tucker, Hannity, Ingraham, etc. Had not missed an episode of Tucker Carlson since it started. Last year or two, FNC got to where I could only stand to listen to Tucker. After the election & their bullshit coverage of it, and lack of coverage of obvious fraud, I turned it off completely. Haven't watched 1 second since about mid November, and I don't miss it a lick. Will never go back.
