my school district has been open & flexible in their handling of this as they allowed in-person instruction from day 1 of this school year (for those who wanted it) but we’re telling our kids that they are not to wear a mask starting next Wednesday and if any of their teachers say they must, then those teachers can discuss with mom and dad. If the state is open, how can the state schools mandate a different set of rules. We’re willing to pull our kids and home school if they won’t budge on the mask stuff. This is the hill I’m willing to die on.
