My sister worked with a woman whose husband in an upper level executive with a national phone company. They made a ton of money. Her husband's father was with them for a while and needed a care worker during the day while they both worked. Once he got better, they kept the care worker to make their meals and do stuff for them. The woman boasted about it being nice to come home to a hot meal daily. Their daughter was at some college and got on food stamps. The woman said, "Isn't life grand!"
