Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

"my brothers and sisters in arms"..... fvck. Every Joe Rogan podcast she's on, she throws that line out at least 5 times. I know a dude that did 6+ tours of getting shot at regularly and he never talks like that. I appreciate her service but she is milking that tit dry. The white pant suit is the same way. She got really good reviews on that in that first debate and now she wears white more than cinderella and don't forget dems wore white as a protest to Trump.

My husband is in the auto auction business.
It's the supply/demand. Remember, everything shut down about 10 months ago. Factories to driver to dealer. It's still not back (supply wise) to near normal.
Meanwhile, the auctions were still going (most without running cars across the blocks... that's going to be something interesting to watch going forward) Leases, rentals, and repos were still going. Dealers were trying to get any inventory they could to hold on. Thus, the used car prices are sky high on both ends.
Edited to add: Potato in Chief is not going be a huge help. Climate change centric policy (whatthefuckever) and killing USA economy is not conducive to a strong buyers market.

Doesn't need to. Money spent and time wasted. They don't care. I remember a story of a couple in Missou that was building a house on some property they bought. The epa, out of nowhere, decided their ditch was a navigable waterway and the area that flooded, when everything flooded, was a wetland. The couple won a couple court cases and the epa was told to leave them alone. They just kept sending fines and legal notices and summons. The family was over $100,000 in legal fees and still couldn't even get a permit to build and were looking at threats of $50,000 per day if they broke ground. They sold the property at a loss and just gave up. That ditch doesn't even have water in it unless it rains that day.
Watch her concession video and remember her biggest thing is stopping these regime change wars. On and on about it in every interview. And she backs Biden over Trump. I mean, I get that she can't endorse Trump but got dayum how can she endorse Joe and claim she wants to end senseless wars?

Look back a few pages. I summarized it badly but the knock(s) on her are:
- Voted for Red Flag laws
- Voted "present" on Trump first impeachment
- Fought back on her own Muh Russia asset accusations but never Trump's muh Russia accusations
- Easy for her to push back now that she's out of Congress
- Is not a real Constitution Defender if one adds these all up
She's been very vocal lately against the censorship and Brennan calling even Libertarians = Domestic Terrorists

For that, at least I give her props. 1st amendment/censorship is a very big issue and should be central to any actual "unifying" movement. The rest can be debated later - as long as we can debate.
