Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I'm the mother of the daughter who founded femmeaid. Provides feminine hygiene products for girls and women who can't afford (for whatever reason) basic necessities. She's no longer directly involved (Her 3 best friends are) but damn what she started grew into sonething amazing and is still going and growing.
You may not realize how important a box of tampons or pads are to every single woman (and how expensive and unattainable for many). I'm being very serious. Santitary feminine hygeine is a very basic health issue for 50+% of the world. What women do when there is no access to tampons or pads is barbaric. It's not a choice. We can't just opt out. This is a big deal.

Went there 5 years ago. Awesome time and place. Not very crowded at all when we went and basically had the whole place to ourselves. If you did not, I'd say the rooms with the rooftop terrace and pool are worth the extra money. JMO

In a teams meeting - I’ve got a client with a sick son. He has covid and it hit him really hard “which is weird because he is fully vaccinated and boosted.”
Update - client is also sick but he tested negative so it’s ok. Also can’t visit the job site because everything is getting locked down for covid! This is a water plant in Texas.

Wesley Chapel. More like an hour and 20 minutes. And yes with traffic because traffic in Wesley Chapel has turned to an absolute shit show with all the northerners moving in. Sure hope these fucks aren't fleeing NY only to come here and vote for the same bullshit they are fleeing.
