I’m not sure this is accurate. The elections will happen, the pubs will win. I’m looking for a bunch of upcoming stories about how republicans are going to win in a red wave, followed by a bunch of post election stories about how the republicans won but underperformed based on expectations.

The bottom line is that it doesn’t matter who wins the election and they know it. Worst case for the dems is the republicans win and they whine and complain publicly while not really changing anything. The left owns the media, the federal bureaucracy and big tech; even if they lose an election, who cares? They will just crank up the propaganda, drive more division and keep pushing the agenda when they get back in power in a couple/few years. Rinse and repeat until the country collapses and the word government takes over.

I think the United States will collapse under its own weight/debt within my elementary-aged kid’s lifetime. Maybe within my lifetime. I think that smart states should begin planning to function independently.

Fortunately this is not that far off from how our government was originally designed. I think we end up in more of an EU type configuration with a national government with more limited powers and member states with more autonomy.
