Yes, it's a very seemingly traditional, old school marriage and family. It works for us.

My wife did the same for ten years when ours were little. Then went to work in the school system for scheduling around sports. Worked out great and we were that old fashioned family. Three grown sons now say it was the very best we could have done and I agree.

I'm loving the Bernie memes. And not in a making fun of Bernie loving them way.

It was cold. He dressed for the weather with ZFG. (And mittens are much warmer than gloves).

I fundamentally disagree with Bernie politically. But I think I would like him as a beer buddy. Yeah...he sold out. Twice. I get it. How many of us wouldn't do the same going up against the Clinton/Obama/Jarret/Soros machine?

But I happen to like grumpy old people who want to argue and drink.

And don't care enough to try to put on airs for the public.

That's true, but Marines always emphasize mission accomplishment over troop welfare. Aka embrace the suck. I'd have to take my shoes off to count how many times I've slept on cold concrete.

Can’t help but think the “great awakening” is all of us literally watching the sh*tshow of a Biden Admin unfold in front of not only us but the world.

It’s been a rocky start in just a 24 hour span.

I don’t believe anything can be done to stop it for the next 4 years but more of us are paying closer attention to it all than ever before. These scumballs are under a microscope and they cannot hide any longer.

I need to make it clear that I am incredibly impressed and in awe of families balancing 2 careers and home life. I couldn't do it. I know this about me, so....

I'm not judging or saying that any family with both parents working is beneath our family.

I support all families, no matter how they make it work. It's always a balance of choice, sacrifice, and drive. No path is wrong (generally speaking) and no path is set in stone.

In this sense... I'm 100% pro choice. Whatever works for your marriage and family.
