I had this on all my computers the past couple of weeks. It went away on 2 after updating Firefox. It didn't go away on my laptop and I was unable to update Firefox. Today, I uninstalled Firefox and installed the newest version. Wallah...No more XML Parsing Errors. Apparently Firefox sent out a corrupted update a couple of weeks ago.

My wife and I got it last July. Her smell still isn’t totally back. She’ll have moments where things smell like smoke, no matter what it is. It’s improving but wow it’s been a while.

I had it a while ago and afterwards all I could smell was smoke. It was maddening. Use a neti pot and flush out the sinuses with the saline solution that comes with the neti pot. It helped tremendously and smoke smell went away. I believe she may be suffering from olfactory hallucinations (phantosmia).

I had a black dog like this in the early 70's. I had taken the wife into the city for a medical procedure. And this very ugly one eyed dog, who had not been taken care of came up to me. He was starving.
I went and bought him a plain burger and he let me pet him.
I suspect somebody threw him away because he was so damned ugly with no eye just an empty socket.

I opened the door on my pick up and said come on boy time to go home. He jumped right in and made himself comfortable.

I kept telling him he was the most beautiful dog I had ever seen and I named him what I thought was an elegant name for him.
"Savoy" Name just popped into my head and it stuck.
He was old when I claimed him, so he had a few good years with me, living high on the hog. Getting all the rib bones, and goodies, spoiled his ass.
Still think of him now and then, dogs are better than people.
