Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

The study authors concluded that “individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from covid-19 vaccination.”
Herein lies the problem. You cited Johns Hopkins study. I cited Johns Hopkins study. They somewhat contradict one another. 2 sources and different information. Now I would be curious to see Pfizer donations to JH. This just enforces the resulting skepticism all around that people feel.

The study yew referenced isn’t directly studying immune response after COVID and vaccination. It’s studying response after one or the other.
It’s an apples to oranges comparison and when studying immune response with both vs just one or the other the data is clear that both is better across multiple studies.
I had my bout with Wuhan Charlie before they stopped the world and before any tests were available to see what I had. All they said was virus of unknown etiology. When they reopened the clinics and hospitals I had 3 MDs say that my symptoms were exactly like they saw during the onslaught. I did get an antibody test later and I have antibodies...natural antibodies like God intended to be produced in reaction to foreign invaders. Natural antibodies much better and robust than these hokey Jabs can give.
