• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Very interesting interview with Katherine Austin Fitts

Tldr:

Covid "a mathematical certainty" born out of financial necessity....namely to step out of the entitlement conundrum

Incredible centralization of economic/political power

Financial capital was removed form the country in the late 90s, government levers up with debt on account of the tax payer, debt used to buy assets on the cheap via disaster capitalism, coercion, extortion, blackmail, bribery

Mr Global wants complete control which requires ownership of assets, currency, land, food, energy, housing

Big fella also wants an interplanetary civilization

Covid shots= could be many things, obviously not for your safety

They want a digital currency with full control

They can print so long as they can engineer deflationary events like covid 19

The powers of the universe seem scared and have abandoned persuasion. This is a spiritual battle

We must leave the system and create our own self sustaining communities

Good, nature freedom will prevail

I award Ms Fitts a legion of my finest soldiers and 20 golden chariots for this offering

Definitely worth the listen

Holy shit...These people should all die in a fire.

I have been stalked by store security before, because I was probably doing some shady shit.

I have been asked to leave a neighborhood in Montgomery because I was in the wrong neighborhood. As in a nice gentleman seeing me and tell me "You don't want to be here when the sun goes down, or you are crazy...."

Tired of this

I certainly don't think they're for everyone. I don't really want them to be for everyone either. I do want the charging stations to keep popping up and I want to have more options for places to charge if I need them (I really haven't, but who knows).

But I do know that they are for more people than they realize. Tesla doesn't advertise, so there is a ton of misconception about what the cars are, what it is to drive them, and what it is to own them.

I have had one of mine for almost 2 years. I've spent $134 dollars on it in maintenance. That's it. I don't think people realize that about them either.
So, you support China. Congrats?

“After years of planning, China now dominates the world’s production of new generation batteries that are key to transitioning away from fossil fuels. These new batteries are essential for electric vehicles and most portable consumer electronics such as cell phones and laptops.

By 2040, energy analysts estimate over half of all passenger vehicles sold worldwide could be electric, according to 2019 report by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. They expect a similar percentage of light commercial vehicles in the U.S., Europe and China sales will be electric within that time, BNEF predicts.

If current trends continue, most of them will likely use Chinese batteries, a key element for transitioning away from fossil fuels, and most of those batteries will be lithium ion, which are also popular for cellphones and laptops because of their high energy per unit mass relative to other electrical energy storage systems, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.”

They're parking spots. They look like this:

They're usually close to an interstate and they're usually in a commercial center. It might be a grocery store parking lot, or a mall, or a hotel, or a shopping plaza. They try to put them near multiple options for things to do while it charges.

Here's a map:

It's hard to see where all of those are. You have to go to tesla.com/findus to see the locations and what type they are. There are 2 that are pretty close to me. But that's irrelevant. I'll never use those. Look for how many are 100-200 miles away from you.
Interesting. How much is it to charge?

And, what are your thoughts on the grid not supporting them during peak usage - middle of summer Texas/Winter in Texas?

I suspect the electric car will remain a niche market. They couldn’t survive in the off-road market because they couldn’t hold up. Curious to see how it progresses as China continues to garner more control in the market.

I Keep Hearing That March Pandemic Will Be Officially Over

Another one will materialize mid to late summer just in time for the election and massive mail-in ballot fraud. They have to wait until after the primaries to see who makes it to the general election. Gives them all summer to sit around and color circles on ballots.
