Interesting bit of news from my city (likely at most other cities too). My town got $7.3 million from the taxpayers as part of the American Rescue Plan Act - the Covid payoff. The purpose was to mitigate the lost revenue from the Wuhan Scare. The purpose was 1) for responding to Wuhan's economic impact, 2) providing premium pay to essential workers (why?), 3) replacing lost revenue (since they shut down businesses, etc.) and 4) investing in water, sewer and broadband infrastructure.

What are they using it for? Paying $3,000 bonus to essential workers. $3 million to build a pump station. $1 million to upgrade sewer systems. And...wait for it...$300,000 to purchase gunshot detection technology.

What is that? That's a device used by police, the FBI, Secret Service and other LEOs to locate gunshots when they occur...it also captures voices of people talking.

The last part of that stinks like a major breach of some constitutional rights.

What is the best overall city in Florida to relocate to? Not even joking. They are coming after our kids now.
being from NYC, you will probably be more comfortable on the East Coast. I grew up in Jersey and like the east coast(South Florida) my parents were midwesterners and they love the west coast. Delray is fantastic town. Napels is great but expensive AF. Jupiter is also very nice. If you want seasons and a smaller town St. Augustine is great as well. Honestly you can't really go wrong here, reason why we are the GOAT.

Wesley Chapel is blowing up but you will have to commute for any good work.

We need good solid Americans that will vote properly to combat the evil fucktard lefties that are moving in and trying to turn Pasco Blue.

Since you have kids, I recommend northern Saint Johns County, which is where we are. Between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Best public schools in the state. We moved from Palm Beach County 12 years ago because we didn’t want to continue to raise our daughter there. Turned out to be a great move.
